Lena Farida Hussain Chin, Ph.D

Lena Farida Binti Hussain Chin completed her PhD in Theatre and Drama from University of Science Malaysia in 2020, MA in Arts (Drama) from University of Malaya in 2008, Bachelor of Performing Arts from MARA University of Technology in 2003, Bachelor of Writing with Honours (Creative Writing) from National Academy of Arts Culture and Heritage in 2001, Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education in 2011 from Roehampton University. Lena is currently appointed as the Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation in Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). She has served UPSI since 2006. Her research and performance interests span various Malaysia traditional, educational, modern, and postmodern theatres. Much of her work has been on research, performance, dramaturgy, and educational theatre networked mainly through conceptual and practice, and has published numerous journals, proceeding, and articles.
